Travelgenix partnership to promote Bulgarian resort to UK agents

Travel technology platform Travelgenix has partnered with representation and consultancy firm Jupita Partner to promote the Bulgarian resort of Albena to the UK travel trade.

Dubbed the “undiscovered coast”, the Black Sea resort has a range of three to five-star hotels along a wide sandy beach.

Andy Speight, chief executive of Travelgenix and Kev Coles, managing director of Jupita, are leading the representation and distribution of 13 hotels for the UK market.

Travelgenix can provide exclusive access through its API and agent portal.

Albena is a privately-owned resort featuring 30 hotels, about 25 miles from Varna airport. Its hotels offer extensive sports facilities, ranging from water activities to golf, yoga and yachting, with a particular emphasis on tennis.

A focus on sustainability means that more than half of the fresh produce served in the resort’s restaurants comes from eco-friendly farming operations within the resort.

Speight said: “This is an exciting destination to open up to the UK travel industry, and we are thrilled to have been such an integral part of this.

“The agent portal is fantastic, and agents will be really surprised at the affordable rates offered.

“Albena presents a phenomenal alternative to other cost-effective beach holidays such as Turkey.”
