Sam Conway has joined Travelzoo as UK head of sales for travel.
He previously worked for Mail Metro Media for seven years, most recently as travel accounts director.
Based in London, Conway will report to the travel deals company’s UK general manager James Clarke.
He replaces Adrian Prett, who is retiring after more than 25 years in the industry.
Conway headed the cruise vertical at the media company, negotiating large scale contracts and speaking at industry events including Clia ocean and river, ATAS and Lata.
A Travelzoo spokesperson said: “With cruise a growing area for Travelzoo, Sam’s experience will pivotal during the upcoming wave season and beyond.
“Sam will also build upon relationships with tourism boards and add value to the strategic partnerships Travelzoo has with operators, agents and the industry.”
