Abta to launch climate action guidebook at Travel Convention

A manual developed by Abta and financial consultancy Deloitte will be launched at next month’s Travel Convention to help industry leaders to decarbonise travel and tourism.

The association said climate change is a global threat, so “urgent action” is needed from all sectors and businesses to tackle carbon emissions.

Carol Rose, Abta’s senior sustainability manager (left) and Alistair Pritchard (right), lead partner for travel and aviation at Deloitte, will launch the Climate Action Guidebook during the convention in Marrakech.

Abta has also announced that the event will be supported by Global – The Media & Entertainment Group, as headline partner.
