Destinations will be a more important consideration than price or brand for cruise customers next year, according to a poll from cruise.co.uk.
The survey of almost 1,000 customers found 44% ranked destination as the main factor in deciding which cruise holiday to book.
A quarter of respondents said price would be their main consideration, while a fifth said their preferred brand would be the key influence.
Specific ships and departure dates were the lowest-ranking considerations, each nominated by just 5% of respondents.
Cruise.co.uk said it expected core Mediterranean and Caribbean bookings to again top its best-seller lists in 2023 after doing so in 2022.
Deputy managing director Tony Andrews said tailor-made packages incorporating cruise and land elements were becoming increasingly popular for the retailer.
