Celestyal recruits two senior execs for commercial team

Celestyal has expanded its commercial team with two senior executives to help the cruise line’s growth in key markets.

Tobias Klitsch has joined as global market development vice-president while Beth Hulett has been named global market development manager.

Klitsch has held senior positions within the travel industry for 15 years and joins Celestyal from PA Consulting, where he worked with aviation and travel organisations.

He has also been Virgin Atlantic’s sales strategy and development director and has held revenue management and sales roles at British Airways.

Hulett has more than eight years’ experience in the cruise industry and joins Celestyal from Virgin Voyages where she worked as sales manager with key UK partners to help drive bookings.

Previously, she was Iglu.com’s senior global supply manager, helping to strengthen relationships with trade partners.

Klitsch reports directly to Celestyal’s chief commercial officer, Lee Haslett, while Hulett will report to Klitsch.

Haslett said: “They join at an exciting time, with the recent launch of Celestyal Holidays, our dedicated trade packaging solution in partnership with Aviate, and the highly-anticipated debut of our new ship, Celestyal Journey, in September.

“Both Tobias and Bethanie have a strong track record of delivering commercial value and strategic growth which will prove invaluable as we intensify our efforts and invest in substantially broadening Celestyal’s presence in key markets, and strengthening our position as the leading provider of the award-winning, multi-destination holiday experiences in Greece and the eastern Mediterranean.”
