Forty agents and 18 suppliers attended two educational days held by dnata Travel Group UK B2B brand Cruise Plus
The events at the company’s headquarters in Leyland, Lancashire, were designed to highlight the different elements of cruise, from ocean to the luxury, river and expedition sectors.
Suppliers involved included Celebrity Cruises, Cunard, Disney Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages, Silversea, Azamara Cruises, Ponant, Celestyal, Scenic, Emerald Cruises, AE Expeditions, Star Clippers, Hurtigruten Expeditions and Quark Expeditions, a new partner to Cruise Plus.

Cruise Plus records best sales week in its history
Marketing director Sarah Lancashire said: “This is the first time we have hosted a Cruise Plus event in this way and the feedback from both our agents who attended and our suppliers has been exceptional.
“Having the event over two days allowed us to expand on the partners we invited, meaning agents got to network and build relationships with more suppliers than ever before.”
Head of specialist product Mark Henderson added: “Ocean cruising differs greatly to luxury, river and expedition cruising and for agents who may be new to cruising or simply wanted to grow their knowledge, this event provided every opportunity to support them.
