Cruising Excursions expands UK range for 2022-23

Cruising Excursions has expanded its range of UK shore excursions to match domestic cruise itineraries in 2022 and 2023.

Two new tours have been added in Liverpool: Discover the Heritage and History of Liverpool, and The Beatles Walking Tour and Liverpool City. Both cost £19.

From Belfast, the company offers an eight-hour coach tour to the Giant’s Causeway and Ballycastle, priced £55. A six-hour private tour with a driver to see the Scottish Highlands, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle costs £419.

Simonne Fairbanks, chief operating officer, said: “Just because a cruise is in the UK, it doesn’t mean agents can’t sell excursions – there is some serious commission to be made, especially on multi-port packages and private tours.”

Cruise lines scheduled to operate in UK waters include Cunard, Royal Caribbean International, Princess Cruises, Viking and Virgin Voyages. Popular ports of call include Liverpool, Belfast, Greenock, Invergordon, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and the Channel Islands.

Cruising Excursions guarantees to get passengers back to the ship in good time for departure.
