Agent winners of a Cunard competition attended a cookery masterclass hosted by celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw.
The participants were chosen by correctly answering a question about the chef’s collaboration with the cruise line.
The Michelin-starred chef will deliver a quartet of Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen residencies on board Queen Victoria in the Mediterranean this summer.
The event at the Chewton Glen hotel in Hampshire, featured a Nathan Outlaw cooking demonstration, lunch and a Q&A session.
Travel Counsellors agent Louise Hunt said: “Being able to chat with Nathan really made it clear what an amazing time our clients could have on board Queen Victoria.”
Richard August, from Iglu, said: “Learning about how Cunard works with great chefs to enhance their dining experience, as well as the quality of produce used across all aspects of the on board dining offer, has been really enlightening.”
Cunard UK sales director Tom Mahoney said: “This was a fantastic opportunity to bring our valued travel agent partners even closer to the Cunard experience.
“Nathan Outlaw’s masterclass showcased the exceptional culinary standards we uphold on board, and it was wonderful to see our agents getting hands-on with such a celebrated chef.
“We know that luxury foodie experiences play a huge role in the guest experience, and this event gave our partners an authentic taste of what makes dining on a Cunard voyage so special.”
