B2B bedbank and ground product specialist WebBeds has poached a Hilton executive to bolster its European sourcing team.
Guy Stolk joins the company on July 3 based at its office in Palma, Majorca, in the role of director of chains – Europe.
He moves after almost 19 years of commercial roles with Hilton in the Benelux region.
Stolk will manage relationships with European hotel chain partners and build a team in working closely alongside regional sourcing personnel and other counterparts around the world. He will also oversee a global relationship with Accor.
Stephanie Rogers, European senior vice president of sourcing, said: “It was incredibly important we appointed an experienced leader who understands the intricacies of hotel chain infrastructures to the chains director position.
“Having worked for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, Guy’s experience will be invaluable in building the WebBeds chain strategy in Europe. This, together with his positive energy, and proactive approach, made Guy the perfect candidate for this role.”
Rogers moved to the company in February from Accor where she was senior director for OTAs in northern Europe and previously worked for Booking.com.
