Light Blue Travel recruits new marketing manager

Jetline Cruise’s former marketing chief Chiara Brooker has joined Light Blue Travel as marketing manager.

Brooker, who previously spent 18 years at Carnival Cruise Line and three years at Jetline Cruise, will report into Light Blue Travel’s commercial director for the UK and Europe, Michelle Daniels.

She will be responsible for planning and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across both cruise brands American Queen Voyages and Nicko Cruises which Light Blue Travel represents.

The agency and tour operator business, which is based in Cambridge, is the UK general sales agent for Nicko Cruises and UK and Europe representative for American Queen Voyages.

Brooker will also be responsible for launching the online training programme.

Daniels said: “I’m delighted that Chiara has joined Light Blue Travel at an exciting time as we plan for significant growth for our cruise brands in the UK and European markets.

“The appointment is our commitment to further strengthening American Queen Voyages’ and Nicko Cruises‘ brands and to offer tailored support for the trade.

“Chiara is a communications expert with a proven track record in digital marketing skills for cruise brands.”

Brooker added: “I look forward to contributing to the future growth and success of Light Blue Travel, the brands I will be representing and supporting positive trade partnerships and relationships.”
