My Booking Rewards hails record-breaking number of agent bookings

My Booking Rewards (MBR) scored a record number of bookings through agents in November, resulting in “huge reward benefits” for the trade.

UK agents banked rewards of more than £18,000 from a total of 4,713 bookings, with MBR suppliers also seeing record returns, securing a combined sales revenue of £30 million.

November also saw MBR welcome 261 new UK agents, who have “already started boosting their earning power considerably”, said the rewards platform, securing additional income in the form of cash, free room nights and fam trip places.

Darren Pearson, My Booking Rewards chief executive, said: “My Booking Rewards continues to smash its own record-breaking figures and we are delighted to see so many agents utilising our rewards and incentives-led formula to boost their earning potential.

“We continue to see lots of new agents joining My Booking Rewards, which is fantastic, and a testament to our agile technology and its ease of use.

“The growth in our agent database also allows our suppliers to increase their engagement with the sales ambassadors that sell their product, resulting in increased return on investment for their businesses.”

The record-breaking month was reflected globally, said MBR, with agents reaping cash benefits of more than $164,000 after logging 15,650 bookings across worldwide markets.

Suppliers have collectively seen sales revenue topping $83 million.

Pearson added he has “high hopes” for the months ahead as the January peaks approach.
