Not Just Travel has reported that its cruise bookings in September reached a record level, thanks to training and partnerships in the sector.
The homeworking agency said cruise sales quadrupled in September compared to September 2022, a result of its “aggressive expansion” into the cruise market.
This was achieved by improving cruise training for its consultants and “aligning closely” with key cruise partners.
The company’s Breaking Waves internal campaign (pictured) saw partnerships with cruise lines drive engagement and sales with more franchisees than ever before.
Chris Harrison, chief commercial officer, said: “Not only have sales been phenomenal, the average value of bookings has increased dramatically, ultimately generating more earnings.
“The partnerships we have with our key cruise partners has meant more engagement through training, promotion of products and more sales than ever before.
“One of the most pleasing stats, however, is we have over 80% more people selling cruises within our business compared to the same time last year.
“This shows how our franchisees are investing in working with our key trade partners and reaping the rewards from it.”
Cruise initiatives launched since September 2022 includes NJT’s Cruise Division, Cruise Mastery programme, Circle of Excellence ultra-luxury working group, Seminar at Sea and International Mastery Retreat.
