Optimum Experience recruits marketing head to boost growth

Cheshire-based agency Optimum Experience has recruited a head of marketing and partnerships to lead its growth strategy.

Sheila Manzano said she has joined the boutique agency in a newly created role to “kick-start” a two-year growth plan, develop the brand’s visibility and oversee B2B relations and collaborations.

With a travel career spanning three decades, Manzano has worked in sales and marketing for agencies and tour operators as well as in-house and agency PR roles.

She founded her own PR agency, Three Little Birds PR, and has worked with brands such as Railbookers, Great Rail Journeys, Mercury Holidays and Classic Battlefield Tours.

Manzano has also managed a travel agency in Sydney and has worked for other agencies such as Flight Centre and Thomas Cook.

In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing an expanding product portfolio and brand repositioning.

She said: “I love leading the charge on growth. We have set out some ambitious targets and the team are ready and really excited to take the business to the next level.

“Plans for 2024 are under way with a dynamic rebrand and host of partner opportunities in discussion.

“This is a truly exceptional opportunity to build a brand that will be synonymous with luxury travel experiences. We aren’t seeking to be the biggest, but the best.”

Founded in 2021, Optimum Experience has a workforce of 10 based in its office in Sandbach, where clients can visit if they wish to meet staff in person.

Kirsty Ralphson, director of the team of Personal Travel Concierges, added: “We have established Optimum Experience as a specialist in the luxury travel space.

“Sheila’s skills and experience will enhance our company profile.

“This is a very exciting phase for the business. We’re looking forward to the future with Sheila at the forefront of our marketing and partnerships realm and driving strategy in developing the business.”
