Princess Cruises has reported its highest Black Friday weekend sales thanks to “strong demand” for 2025 and 2026 voyages.
The cruise line reported bookings between November 29 to December 2 this year were up 32% on the equivalent four-day Black Friday period last year.
In particular, Cyber Monday “shattered expectations” with bookings more than doubling compared to 2023 with an increase of 136%.
Bookings for 2026 itineraries were also up 66% compared to bookings for 2025 voyages made over Black Friday weekend in 2023.
Princess Cruises itineraries for 2025 and 2026 include solar eclipse sailings, the launch of newest Sphere-class ship Star Princess and popular routes in Alaska, Europe and the Caribbean.
Gus Antorcha, Princess Cruises’ new president, said: “The overwhelming response from our guests and worldwide strength of our brand reflects the growing enthusiasm for cruise travel and the unparalleled experience Princess Cruises delivers.
He added that demand for both 2025 and 2026 voyages mean it is clear guests are planning further ahead and recognising the value of booking early.
Antorcha continued: “As we look ahead to 2025 and beyond, we are thrilled to see such strong demand across all our offerings.
“This success is a testament to the loyalty of our guests, the commitment of our travel advisor partners, and the tireless efforts of the entire shoreside and shipboard Princess team members to deliver extraordinary experiences that inspire and delight.”
