Riviera Travel launches first river cruise radio campaign

Riviera Travel has unveiled its first-ever river cruise radio advertising campaign as it encouraged agents to continue supporting the brand throughout the wave period.

The ‘Time to catch up’ adverts, airing on Classic FM, are voiced by English actor Anthony Head, who has starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Little Britain.

A online video advert has also been created by Riviera. That will run across Facebook, YouTube and Google.

The operator said the campaign “invites holidaymakers to join a Riviera cruise and enjoy the finest local cuisine, spacious onboard suites and cabins”.

Sarah Fowler, head of brand and acquisition, urged the trade to continue with their support during wave.

Fowler said: “We know many people haven’t travelled abroad since before March 2020, but our customers have told us they’re longing to get back to travel this year.

“Our campaign aims to bring to life the amazing experiences guests can enjoy on our luxury river cruises, reminding them just how special travel can be and tapping into that desire to catch up with the world again.”

She added: “The trade has been brilliant to work alongside during the past couple of years, and we’re so grateful for the support we have continued to receive.”
