Ruth Endacott to head Travel Solutions Network

Ruth Endacott has been named as managing director of new homeworking firm Travel Solutions Network.

She will be responsible for the day-to-day business and will bring her extensive tour operating experience with the likes of Airtours Gold Medal and Trafalgar and retail experience with Going Places and Holiday Line to the company.

The wife of travel entrepreneur Steve Endacott, chairman of the company, she follows the appointments of ex-Tui finance director Will Waggott and former MyTravel chief executive Richard Carrick as non-executive directors and shareholders.

TSN, founded by Garry and Lindsey Winterburn, aims to recruit hundreds of experienced travel staff to work on outsourced contracts as they build their own client bases.

It is offering up to 80% share of commission to attract both new and existing homeworkers and those looking to return to the travel industry.

Chief executive Garry Winterburn said: “We are delighted that Ruth has joined TSN in such a key role which strengthens the composition of our board.

“It is fantastic to have added so much experience and leadership to drive the team and business forward.

“Ruth will head up the day-to-day running of the business allowing both Lindsey and I to focus on the rapid growth and strategic development of the business.”

Ruth Endacott said: “I’m thrilled to take on this role and be part of Travel Solutions Network. The company is unique in its offering and has launched at the perfect time to attract the travel talent we need.

“We will shortly launch a fully bookable online platform individually branded for our homeworkers, along with a tech suite and full marketing assets to support the homeworkers.

“Our partners want their customers to have access to our excellent customer service delivered by our network of homeworking travel experts, to either guide their customers through the wide range of products we offer or to assist in post booking administration.

“In a post-Covid-19 world easily access human assistance is a massive trust builder. Exciting times ahead and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
