n royal canada offers cut-price flight dealRoyal Canada is offering agents £110 return tickets to Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal to be taken by June 30. Flights are from Bristol, Stansted, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. Other Canadian destinations include Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary.
n stansted doubles passenger numbers
Stansted Airport almost doubled its European scheduled passenger numbers last month when, compared to April last year, it handled a total of 932,000 customers. BAA’s UK airports had 10.1m passengers last month, a 10.2% rise over April last year.
n British regional increases frequency
British Regional Airlines is to increase frequency on its Glasgow-Cardiff route from three to four daily weekday flights on July 3. Fares lead in at £60 one-way. The BA franchise carrier also offers a Sunday service.
