Viking has unveiled plans to operate a 170-day world cruise visiting six continents and 41 countries.

Viking Sky will sail ‘Viking World Voyage III’ from Fort Lauderdale on December 22, 2026, and arrive in its final destination of Stockholm on June 10, 2027.

Passengers can also book a shorter 153-day section of the cruise, called ‘Viking World Voyage IV’, sailing from Los Angeles on January 8, 2027, visiting 37 countries and 18 overnight ports of call.

There are also 142-day and 125-day options available, with the former starting in Fort Lauderdale and the latter in Los Angeles. Both options finish in London.

Overnight ports include Sydney, Zanzibar, Cape Town and Casablanca, with other highlights including ports of call in Hawaii, the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the western coast of Africa.

Torstein Hagen, Viking chairman and chief executive officer, said: “Our approach in everything we do has always been to focus on the destination, from our thoughtfully curated itineraries to our elegant small ships, which are designed to bring guests closer and enable exploration.

“Extended voyages like our world cruises allow curious travellers to experience dozens of destinations, iconic landmarks and rich cultures in one seamless journey, making them truly the adventures of a lifetime.”
