FIRST Choice is set to offer its best customers the opportunity to book holidays before brochures go on sale to the general public.Managing director Dermot Blastland said the operator had conducted research to find out more about its most loyal clients and planned to reward them with a range of offers.
“One of our problems was that we didn’t know who our most valuable customers were,” admitted Blastland.
“We found they don’t necessarily want money off but they want value-added service which is often quite low cost to deliver.
“They want to book a week before the brochures come out and we are looking at that, plus things like upgrades.
“It can be very frustrating that a loyal client goes to book another holiday and finds the hotel they want is sold out.”
