JMC simplifies pricing policy
JMC has merged its pricing and product departments as part of a plan to make pricing simpler for customers.Deputy managing director Terry Williamson said customers are confused and do not trust brochure pricing.
“Everyone sees the brochure price but expects a deal,” he said. “They just don’t believe the price panel.”
He said bringing pricing, product, yield and commercial functions under one department will allow a clearer policy to be defined.
“Ideally, I would like to have brochures with no pricing panels. I believe most customers will soon have access to prices via a new distribution channel,” she said.
