The Australian Highlights Tour starts in Melbourne and takes in Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Cairns and Sydney. It includes first-class accommodation and costs from £2,079.
n northwest regional reinstates serviceNew airline Northwest Regional has reinstated flights between Broome and Exmouth, which were dropped by Skywest last July. The new service makes it easier to combine visits to Broome with a trip to Monkey Mia, just north of Exmouth.
n Hayman resort enjoys £5.7m upgrade
Hayman Resort on the Great Barrier Reef has begun a £5.7mrefurbishment programme. The first phase covers the west wing accommodation and the west wing pool.
