In the frame for the wrong photo shoot

I WAS amused to read about pensioner Bill Easterbrook finding his picture in the Leisurely Days brochure in Cutting Edge (Travel Weekly June 5).

We have been talking to Mr Easterbrook to explain to him that it is not his picture in the brochure but a Mr and Mrs Rogers, who live in Colorado.

We have strict policies requiring our photographers to obtain written permission from models for any close-up shots they take. For this shot we have a copy of the model release form and have checked with the photographer – in itself an easy task, as the subjects in the picture are the photographer’s parents!

I regret that this matter has caused Mr Easterbrook concern. However, having spoken to Mr and Mrs Rogers, they are keen to meet Mr Easterbrook. If he ever goes to Colorado, I know he will receive a very warm welcome!
