FSS signs up operators for Web system

FSS HAS signed up three tour operators to its new Leisure Distribution System and hopes to secure a further three suppliers before the product is launched to the trade in July.

Chief executive officer Ed Spiers admitted the launch had been delayed due to uncertainties about which operators would participate and how much they would pay.

The system which enables agents and customers to book package holidays on-line, will cost operators £10,000 a year plus £5 per agent booking and £20 per consumer booking. Travelscene and Palmair are among the confirmed partners.

Meanwhile, FSS has announced that two former Travellog owners, sales director Andrew Osborne and managing director Keith Adams, will leave in August and November respectively. FSS acquired system supplier Travellog last July.
