Kept in the dark over ‘open all hours’ policy at Eurotunnel
QUESTION: what hours does Claire Martin, Points Plus Manager at Eurotunnel, keep? If you know the answer, perhaps you could let Claire know, because she doesn’t seem sure.I’ve received a copy of some amusing letters sent out by Claire to the client of one of our travel agent friends.
The first mailing, signed by Claire, says ‘our offices are open from 9am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday’. By the time Claire signs the second mailing, she’s got much more of a work ethic, telling the customer he can call the office ‘between 8am and 11pm, Monday to Friday and between 8am and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday’.
Reading Claire’s third signed mailing, it’s clear she’s got no life at all during the week, as the hours have been extended even further and the office is now open from 7am to 11pm.
Business has clearly stabilised on the weekend as the mailing states the office remains open between 8am and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Perhaps Claire has got a new hobby at the weekend.
