The Association of British Tour Operators to France is holding its first long-haul conference in the French Caribbean island of St Martin between June 10 and 11.
ABTOFchairman Warren Sandral said the event was designed to be inspirational and focus on how members should develop skills to run their businesses in the new millennium.
Theo Wegbrans from technology company CISCO Systems will be speaking about the opportunities posed by e-commerce. Other top-level speakers are still being finalised and will be announced in the spring.
Sandral said he expected around 320 delegates to attend the event with many holidaying in the other French Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique before or after the conference.
A Welcome Evening will be held on Friday June 9 and there will be a Gala Dinner on Sunday June 11.
