Review leads to job cuts
HOMEWORKINGgroup Travel Counsellors has made three people redundant after a review of the business.Commercial manager Phil Hogg has left, along with a member of staff in the Information Technology department and one in marketing and administration.
Travel Counsellors’ director Dominic Speakman said: “We didn’t need certain positions so a couple of people have been made redundant.”
He added that the company had already recruited a more senior member of staff for the IT department and that 20 new people had been added to the head office since December.
“We are also recruiting 20 new homeworkers this month.”
