n marriott prepares for brazilian expansionMarriott Hotels is to open two new properties, a Marriott Resort and Spa and a Renaissance hotel, on the Costa Do Sauipe resort of Brazil. Both are scheduled to open in November.
n four seasons tokyo hotel set for upgrade
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to install high-speed data lines in all 283 guest rooms at its Tokyo property. The hotel’s fitness centre will also be refurbished and opening hours extended to allow clients to use the facilities 24hrs a day.
n leading hotels embarks on suites promotion
Leading Hotels of the World has launched a suites promotion which runs until March 2001. Deals on offer are one night in a deluxe suite at The Ritz in London for £1,100, including limousine airport transfers, English breakfast and a mini-bar. The usual price is £1,200. It is also promoting specially designed weekends and breaks at 184 destinations.
