Staff reshuffle follows agency rebranding
A STAFFrestructure has followed the £20 million rebranding of Travelcare.The Manchester-based agency, previously called Co-op Travelcare, has embarked on a three-year project to boost its image and raise brand awareness outside the industry as well as within it (Travel Weekly July 31).
This includes a restructuring of management staff.
Former regional managers Stuart Marston and Karen Pocock have been promoted to the new posts of sales manager and customer service manager respectively.
They will take on the day-to-day running of the regional management team, reporting to group operations manager Barry Marchant.
Their replacements are Lunn Poly branch manager David Evans and Thomas Cook regional sales manager Christina Murray.
Former manager of Travelcare’s Sittingbourne branch Roy Gilby will join themas regional sales manager with responsibility for the south-east.
Meanwhile, former Aquasun travel sales development manager Martin Chadwick is joining Travelcare to become foreign exchange sales manager.
