Burris’ training sessions were an insult to all
I attended one of British Airways’ training sessions with Nolan Burris and find myself surprised how your reports seem to focus on the dog walking and plant watering ideas. One constant theme from Burris was that agents had always worked for the supplier. This would now change and our survival would now depend on working for the client.
I don’t know what planet Burris used to work on but no travel agency would stay in business if it did not put its clients first. I felt insulted by Burris’ attitude but seeing as it was British Airways who paid for the seminars, perhaps I was too naive to expect much more.
