Hertz responds to price guide demands with new rates booklet
HERTZ is blitzing agents nationwide with a new laminated rate guide, in response to requests for a more detailed price guide for its World on Wheels brochure.The brochure, which was launched in May and is the company’s pre-paid all-inclusive leisure product, contained lead-in prices only, as Hertz believed agents would check constantly changing rates on the Internet or by phoning the designated agents’ line. But feedback from agents revealed that until Internet access is more readily available in agencies, the printed price guide is still preferred. Hertz Europe’s head of leisure sales, UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and Belux Sheelagh Collins said: “The new rate card has made a difference and I think it and the brochure work well together.”
The new card is valid until March 31 next year.
