Former Hilton in Dubaigetsrebrand

THE FORMER Hilton Beach Club in Dubai has been rebranded as The Jumeirah Beach Club.

Owner Jumeirah International has also announced plans to modernise the site, which already boasts its own private beach and pavilion-style accommodation.

A hotel spokeswoman said: “It will be brought up to Jumeirah standards.

“People staying there will also be able to access the facilities of the neighbouring Jumeirah Beach Hotel.”

These include the hotel’s 18 bars and restaurants and four private pools.

The five-year-old resort, purchased earlier this year, will continue to target the same high income family bracket.

“The Beach Club already has a very strong existing customer base, particularly from the UK and Germany,” she added.

“We will want to keep that but also increase it further.

“It will fit in with the existing group, perfectly complementing villa accommodation at Beit-Al-Bahar, which is also aimed at family groups.”

Jumeirah Beach Club’s general manager Doris Greif said she hopes the changes will enhance its popularity with new and existing customers.
