LONDON night spot Sound Republic is to compete with established hotels as a city-centre conference venue.
The Leicester Square property has been refurbished and a dedicated team has been trained up to help organisers on site with equipment. It will also be relaunched under a new name next month at the Confex exhibition in Earl’s Court, from February 29-March 2.
Situated in the Swiss Centre, the Sound Republic’s main restaurant can hold up to 600 delegates in reception format, or 300 seated.
The restaurant has three video walls and 100 televisionmonitors all of which can be used to display product information or videos.
The walls can be used for PowerPoint presentations and the restaurant also has a stage which can be used for presentations.
The venue’s Blue Room can hold up to 125 standing guests or 75 seated. It has 16 television monitors and is a good venue for smaller presentations.
A third room, The Venue, has its own entrance in Wardour Street, spanning two floors.
