Butlins is claiming to have put together its strongest ever musical line-up for 2000/2001, led by the popular dance bands Steps and Five who will be performing at holiday parks during November.

Music Festivals, targeted at adults and older children, will feature acts such as the Animals, The Real Thing, Herman’s Hermits, The Rubettes and Dr and the Medics.

New themed breaks for this winter at Butlins include Disco Inferno with Shalamar and Candi Staton, Sounds of the ’80s and Complete Madness with Bad Manners, Aswad, Sonia and Limahl, and the Magic of Motown with Edwin Starr.

Family winter breaks will feature acts such as Freddie and the Dreamers and The Black Abbots. Adult Weekenders for guests aged over 18 years have acts such as The Comedy Express with Phil Cool and Stan Boardman, and The Glam Rock Weekender with Jean Genie and Racey.

Themed breaks start at £27 per person, family winter breaks lead in at £33 per person and Music Festivals cost from £37 per person.
