* Holiday Inn finishes £3.5 million expansion
Holiday Inn Garden Court at Manchester Airport has completed its £3.5 million expansion programme adding 78 superior rooms, six new conference suites and improved restaurant facilities. Room prices start from £67.50 mid-week for a family of four, and £49 at weekends. The upgraded rooms cost an extra £10 and include computer data points and interactive TV.

Leading Small Hotels of the World is offering one and two-night Christmas packages at the luxury Montgomery Hotel in Brussels. The offer is available from December 1 to January 7 2001, starting at £50.59 per person for a double executive room plus a welcome drink, full buffet breakfast and chocolates. Taxi transfer to The Grand Place and free access to the hotel’s sauna and fitness centre are also included. The two-night deal is the same, including a gourmet meal with wine.
