Premier Holidays adds new hotels to America brochure
PREMIER Holidays is adding more than 40 hotels to its America programme, for next year – mainly in its top-selling destinations, such as New York, Orlando and California.
Coverage of Hawaii, which has seen a 40% growth in bookings this year, has been doubled from four to eight pages.
America product manager Debbie Goffin said: “Las Vegas has seen the biggest growth this year, up a staggering 97%, while California had an overall increase of 21% year on year. This is mainly coming from the touring regions, including coastal destinations, such as Santa Barbara and national parks like Yosemite.
“Florida has been a little disappointing, particularly over the summer but we believe this is just a blip in demand and are therefore adding more self-catering accommodation and themed hotels such as Universal Studios Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando.”
A new concept for next year is the introduction of the Premier Choice category of hotels, described as ‘tried and tested’ favourites with Premier clients.
They are featured in all major destinations and examples include the Hyatt Grand Cypress in Orlando and the Bijou in San Francisco.
The operator is also overbranding the programme for retail consortia Worldchoice and Advantage Travel Centres.
Prices start at £256 for return flights to the US, fully inclusive car rental from £30 per day and accommodation in Las Vegas from £32 per room. Nightly rates at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando start at £131 per room.
