Exhibitors sign up for G-Mex event
THE NUMBER of exhibitors at next month’s Business Travel 2000 show in Manchester has topped 100 – a 30% increase on last year’s event.
Companies with stands for the first time include Budget Rent A Car, Company Barclaycard, Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts, Pakistan International Airlines and Portman Travel.
This is the third time the show has been held in Manchester. Organisers have run a similar event in London for several years, but following requests, decided to have an event in the north.
Subjects on the event’s programme include counting the cost of transaction fees; using the Web for travel management; keeping tabs of travel expenses; women travellers; how to stretch travel budgets and how to buy the best air fares.
Two dedicated seminar rooms are being built to cater for the increased number of delegates expected to attend the event, being held at theG-Mex Centre on October 4 and 5.
Tickets are free to delegates who pre-register, while anyone who arrives on the day without a ticket must pay £20. Seminars are £20 if booked in advance or £30 on the day.
