Leger Holidays has added two nine-day escorted battlefield tours to Germany Germany for next year. The two additions are Berlin War and Peace, priced from £349 for travel from May 5 including seven nights’ bed and breakfast and Colditz, Dambusters and the Great Escape, leading in at £399 for travel after April 28.
River and coastal cruise specialist Travel Renaissance Holidays has introduced a three-night cruise along the Rhine and Moselle rivers to its 2001 brochure. The full-board cruise aboard the 184-berth MS Italia takes in Rudesheim, Koblenz, Alken, Zell, Cochem and Cologne and is also available on a four-night option sailing in the reverse direction. Prices lead in at £325 per person.
December will see the completion of Kempinski Hotels and Resorts’ 14th property in Germany, situated in Binz, on the island of Rügen in the Baltic Sea, when its wellness centre, comprising a spa, gym and thalassotherapy treatment centre opens to the public. The resort, which opened in June, has124-deluxe rooms and four suites all with private balcony, ISDN lines and bar.
