FIRST Choice has threatened to withdraw from the ABTA
convention in Kos unless more agents register for it.
UK and Ireland managing director Dermot Blastland said:
“Quite frankly, I am fed up with going to a destination where people don’t
really want to be.
“ABTA looks at the convention as a product educational but I
view it principally as the annual meeting of the industry where we can network
and discuss issues. That’s what it should be.
“We are due to attend but if there’s only a handful of
agents going then what’s the point?”
