BASS Hotels and Resorts has appointed Lucinda Semark to the newly created position of senior director of global brand marketing for its upmarket hotel brands.
Moving from sister company Britvic Soft Drinks, Semark will run global marketing for the Inter-Continental and Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts Brands.
Meanwhile, Bass is believed to be in negotiations to buy Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation, a three and four-star chain based in the Asia Pacific region, although the company declined to comment.
SPHC, owns around 61 hotels, mainly in Australia and New Zealand.
