Acts as a consolidator for 35 airlines in total, including the KLM/Northwest alliance. It also puts together short breaks to New York, Minneapolis, Boston and Chicago.
Capacity: 60,000-70,000 seats a year.
Systems used: its fares are bookable on Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo, or over the phone.
What’s new: it is selling seats on United Airlines for the first time this year, plus it brought out separate brochures for packages to California and Florida. It is launching an Internet site which will go on trial with a handful of agents later this month. The site will provide agents with fares and information initially but by the end of the year it will also offer agents a booking facility.
Key partners: sells through all agents, mostly independents, all of whom are offered booking incentives in the form of vouchers which can be exchanged for vouchers at 24 high-street retailers. It has a close working relationship with The Global Travel Group.
