Travel 2 adds South Africa self-drive deals
Travel 2 adds South Africa self-drive deals
LONG-haul operator Travel 2 has added a range of pre-planned self-drives to its 2001 Southern Africa brochure.
Among the new itineraries are a five-day tour taking in Cape Town, Winelands and Hermanus and a seven-day trip incorporating Mpumalanga and the North.
To capitalise on the growing reputation for Cape Town and the surrounding area, the Coast of Whales has been added along with three-day tours from Cape Town to Stellenbosch and Hermanus. Prices start at £150.
The operator has also built on demand for game parks in the mid-price range by introducing two reserves near Kruger National Park – Kapama and Idube.
A greater focus has also been placed on Kwazulu Natal with the addition of Zimbali Lodge and Country Club and Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse.
In the Seychelles, the island of Desroches is featured for the first time along with Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove on Mahe and Lemuria Resort on Praslin.
Zimbabwe is also featured with enquiries beginning to return after the political turmoil of the past 12 months.
