MEDITERRANEAN Shipping Cruises is launching five-night Spring Dream and Autumn Dream cruises out of Venice on Rhapsody in its new summer 2000 brochure.
The short cruises, which start from £428 per person, can be combined with a stay in Italy. Passengers can book stopovers in Venice at the beginning and end of their cruise, or spend a week at Lake Garda.
Other new itineraries offered on Rhapsody include a seven-night East Cruise and an 11-night Classic Mediterranean cruise.
Meanwhile, Melody will undertake three itineraries over 25 cruises during summer 2000.
The seven-night Mediterranean Pearls cruise features stops at Naples, Palermo, Tunis, Barcelona and Marseilles. Prices start from £666 per person.
Customers also have the option of paying from £873 to combine the cruise with a week in the Italian resorts of Diano Marina, San Remo or Tremezzo.
It is offering customers a 25% discount on brochure rates if they pay a deposit by February 28.
Return flights, port and airport taxes are included in the prices.
