Star Cruises puts focus on SuperStar Libra

Star Cruises will have details of its new ship, the 4,000-passenger SuperStar Libra, at World Travel Market.

The ship, which is due to join the Star fleet in October next year, will feature 20 restaurants and bars and will offer facilities for both the leisure and corporate markets.

It will have a kids’ pool area and a nursery plus facilities for older children to appeal to the family market. Business and meeting facilities will also be provided for those who need to work on board.

It has yet to be confirmed whether the SuperStar Libra will replace the SuperStar Virgo sailing out of Singapore.

A company spokesman said Star Cruises hoped to be able to provide full details at the exhibition.
