THE
British Travel Industry Hall of Fame has elected Alun Cathcart its new
chairman.
Cathcart,
who is chairman of Avis Europe, takes over from managing director of the Eastcastle
Management Group Michael East, who is stepping down.
The HoF
recognises the achievements of individuals who have contributed to the travel
industry.
Recent
members include Accor founders Paul Dubrule and Gerard Pelisson and Sir Richard
Branson.
