Airtours general manager north and Scotland Andy Crowe is leaving to join DFDS Seaways on February 21.
Based in Newcastle, Crowe will be responsible for developing sales through the trade and overseeing the operator’s on-line booking product which goes live shortly. Crowe replaces UKsales manager Bob Balzell who has left to pursue other interests.
DFDS UK sales and marketing manager Matthew Eastlake said Crowe will also recruit two more regional sales managers to increase the sales team to seven.
Airtours is currently recruiting a replacement for Crowe.
