JMChas introduced four properties in the Bahamas into its 2000 Tropical Shores brochure on the back of the new direct flights to the islands.
The new product includes the Reef Village at The Lucayan. Prices start from £579 for seven nights at the Port Lucaya Yatch and Beach Club, flying from October 20 to 31, 2000.
JMC group product manager, Alexander Babic said: “Our properties range from two and three to just under five star. We are aiming at the upper end of the charter market. The destination will appeal predominantly to couples although family facilities are good.”
The operator is planning to take 300 travel agents out to the island on December 10 to highlight its selling points. The participants will be primarily Thomas Cook agents but JMC will also be inviting agents who have completed the Bahamas Tourist Office’s specialist agent programme.
