&#42 hong kong tourist association changes name

The Hong Kong Tourist Association changes its name to the Hong Kong Tourism Board this week. The change reflects the evolution of the organisation from a membership-based association of travel companies to a statutory body responsible for marketing Hong Kong.

&#42 antwerp to host flanders travel forum

The Flanders Travel Forum will be held in Antwerp on the weekend of April 29 to May 1. The forum, supported by Travel Weekly, is aimed at operators and agents selling Flanders as a holiday destination. The event will begin on Sunday with a welcome party in the city’s Bourla Theatre and on Monday delegates will meet 70 Flemish product providers for a series of workshops. &#42 GNTO brochure to promote romanesque period

The German National Tourist Office has launched a brochure entitled The Splendour of the Romanesque Period – a Journey of Discovery into the German Middle Ages. The tourist office is looking to market the destination with a Romanesque theme during this year and the new brochure includes a diary of events such as Medieval festival days, music festivals, exhibitions and themed markets. It also includes information on places to visit, tours available and maps of the area.
