Fort Lauderdale
Shopping, golfing, sailing, fishing and scuba diving are top of the list of pursuits that Fort Lauderdale sellers will be discussing, not to mention the fast-growing Port Everglades cruise terminal from where more than 30 cruise ships operate a wide range of itineraries.
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau also wants to showcase the results of a $2 billion investment programme in new hotels, attractions and other amenities over the past five years.
These include the renovation of the Old Fort Lauderdale historic district, expansion of the Sawgrass Mills outlet mall, the $56 million New World Aquarium and the $150 million Las Olas Riverfront entertainment, dining and retail complex.
