UP TO 200 British Airways Holidays staff will have to
relocate to Peterborough or face redundancy in a cost-cutting move following
the merger with Thomas Cook Holidays.
Staff in Crawley were told by managers of the joint venture
on Wednesday that customer services and reservations operations are being
relocated from mid-September.
The decision follows four months’ research which found
operating costs to be significantly lower in Peterborough.
