A BRITISH Airways Concorde will take to the skies tomorrow
to test new safety modifications.
The aircraft will take off from Heathrow at 2.20pm and land
at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire at 6pm.
No passengers will be on-board the flight.
BA’s entire Concorde fleet is being fitted with special fuel
tanks to avoid a repetition of last year’s incident when an Air France Concorde
crashed killing all 113 people on board.
The service was suspended soon afterwards.
